The investigations are currently ongoing on alarm and fire system and the causes of the fire at Parco Stella Shopping Center. At the moment the damage is estimated around 100 million euro and more than 50 people have lost their jobs due to the devastation of Unieuro Eurobrico and shops.
At the beginning, the arson was excluded. The hypothesis leads to a short circuit fed by the presence of cartons in the warehouse, polystyrene and the proximity to Eurobrico sawmill. For this reason, the fire spread even though it is established that the fire system has functioned smoothly.
