ELAN informs that on 15 August 2016 it has been awarded with ISO 9001: 2008 relating to the business organization’s Quality Management System.
To date, the ISO 9001 is the world reference in the field of company certification.
The ISO 9000 standards provide guidance on how a company works to provide a product or a quality service. This family of standards provides organizational indications and for this reason is suitable for different sectors of activity. This kind of certification is a certification system and not for product. This means that is not certified the good or service, but the company management system.
Specifically, the certification obtained by ELAN is related to the fire resistant cables manufacturing system. We are talking about fire cables called ELANFIRE.
The future goal of company will be to obtain product certification for fire resistant cables by BRE Global Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB).
